Chassis No.B.2.CW.
==============

We are returning to you under cover
of our advice note No.5623 a piston which has
been returned to us by Messrs.Laystall
Engineering Co.,Ltd., having suffered a bad
seizure.

I attach a copy of their letter
together with a copy of our reply.

Would you please let me have your
report in due course.

Incidentally, Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} has examined this
piston and is of the opinion that insufficient
skirt clearance has possibly contributed largely
to this failure.

PK/KC.
