Crankshaft Damper. My attention has been drawn to the varying thickness of the cotton duck washers used for the crankshaft dampers. The latest supply appears to be woven thicker than usual. The Kingsbury Depot are having difficulty in obtaining the correct slipping poundage owing to this thickness. They are obliged to remove half the loading springs to obtain the necessary poundage. The reason may be a new piece number, or possibly in the buying. Will you please let me know whether a change has been made. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH.{George W.
