When our Belgian Agents were recently in Derby they made a complaint which they say is common to all the cars they have supplied, and we promised to forward them information on this point.

It appears that they supply nothing but Torpedo type bodies and that in every case the side of the body passes between the side levers with the result, they say, that their customers complain that the space is so limited they are always rubbing their knuckles on the side of the body.

I have looked up the records of some 7 or 8 cars which we have recently supplied through these people, and in every case except one, the side levers have been of the set in type.

I believe we shall be correct in recommending these Agents to specify set out levers for these Torpedo bodies, as these were specially designed to meet this case. If for any reason this is not
