X300 a To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re P.III Test Abroad. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}11/E18.5.36 It is just a fortnight since my last visit to Derby and I understood that Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} would be leaving for abroad with 32-EX very soon after that date. I do not know what date he actually went but, if he went at the end of that week, it would be just over a week ago. I do not appear to have received any reports. I am not referring to the normal daily reports that we get of 15,000 miles tests but I do feel that we ought to have heard something ere this. I can hardly imagine that Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} does not report something to you. If he does not do so, he is very much at fault and I feel that, if he does [strikethrough] report to you, copies of such memos. should be sent to me, especially in view of the importance of the whole matter.
