The back seats are not so comfortable as they ought to be considering the superlatively good ride obtained in the front seats, and we think that this may be due to frame movement consequent upon rubber mounting the body. This, however, will be investigated as soon as the mileage to clear the production cars has been completed.

When, if ever, it is decided to make a Ph.III car to follow the lines of the Ph.II Continental chassis, there are engine and springing modifications which could with advantage be incorporated. Also, a high speed fan may be desirable in mountainous districts.

Briefly, the chassis as it will first be delivered to the public is not without its faults, but it is a relief to find that when one uses the car as it is intended to be used, many of the faults which assume serious proportions under analytic testing conditions lose the majority of their significance.

While in Spain we were able to let Sr. try the car, and also to demonstrate it to a potential customer. Sr. in Paris took the car over his test course and seemed pleased with it. Its performance was only slightly inferior to that of the very light 4 1/4 litre Bentley which he is using as a demonstration car.
