IMPROVED LUBRICATION OF FRONT SHOCK DAMPER CONNECTING LINKS TO SCH.F.76634. (235

Fitted to 8-EX car.

We have examined the lubrication of these after 4000 miles and in our opinion it is satisfactory.
These have been oiled at approximately every 1000 miles instead of 500 miles as instructed in the lubrication chart, due to the car being away during the test.

The felt packing is well saturated with oil both top and bottom and the inside of the tubes contained a fair quantity of oil which has been fed through the small hole drilled for same. The outside of the inner tube shews that oil has drained down after passing the felt packing.
The links have not been adjusted during this mileage.
