| To Ru 6 BIV 200a Feb. 24. 1938 With reference to the "cold air" effect on carburation. I think that the complete problem would be taken care of, by turning the air silencer completely round, so that the air intake to the silencer is taken from the scuttle end of the bonnet, Same as Ph. III. About six months ago a rocker cover air silencer was tested on the bed, on a 25/30 engine, and was found to be an advantage for distribution. The scheme however was never tested on the road.
