In response to your query, we have made careful observations on the road, with the rear seat removed of the Armstrong rear dampers and cannot detect any knocks. The nearside damper has lost one syringe full of oil from the gland and there is .015" free end float on the shaft. The offside damper has lost no oil and there is no free end float on the shaft. --------- Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/IMW.{Ivan M. Waller - Head of Chateauroux} Franklin Waller. | ||
