GENERAL

1. Interior Heating

It was decided that on principle we ought to standardise a heater in all Wraiths and P.III's, and that if the demand indicated the necessity of supplying it on B V, we should probably decide to give it also in cases of necessity, but it was considered not necessary to definitely standardise it yet on B V, and it was suggested that standardisation should take effect first on R-R cars.

2. Rationalised Programme

P.III It was decided that W. would not spend any more money on the preparation of material for the assembling of P.III chassis without first consulting S. It is however possible that S. may require a few more P.III's, but not necessarily the whole of the 45 provided for in RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}'s schedule of output. 20 may meet the requirements of Sw and W. will be instructed later on this point. Meantime nothing further should be done even in connection with this 45.

Wraith The position of Wraiths was made clear by Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} and it seems possible that to fit in with the Rationalised Programme we shall need to order some more Wraiths to follow on "C" series and of the same type of chassis, until such time as the Rationalised Programme for Wraith will be available.

Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} therefore authorised the ordering of material for a further 100 chassis, but instructed that this material should be treated in two batches of 50, and only the first 50 are for the time being to be put in hand. It was believed that if the remaining 50 were never produced the material ordered for them would come in useful for spare parts, and would not become wholly scrap.

The question of bodies for some of these chassis will need to receive consideration.
