Testing and comparing different coil case materials (Redmanol and X616B) for misfires at 100°C.

W.E.12 contd. (2) pick up were registered although these misfires could not always be consistently repeated. The coil case was then changed for a standard Redmanol and the test at 100°C repeated. We did obtain one or two misfires in this instance but not quite so frequently as with the X616B case. The difference however was very small and we should like the opportunity of trying another case of this X616B material before stating that it was inferior to Redmanol. Taking into account the presence of the earthed shield the leakage effect can be said to be very small in either case. HEWest. | ||
