Steering.

Needle bearings fitted to pivots.
The steering remains consistent, no signs of tightening up.
The modification to contact pieces in rear end of side steering tube has effectually overcome rattling heard in steering column.

Exhaust System.

A new front expansion box and intermediate pipe replacing the one which failed at the welded joint developed a crack at the weld after 2,430 miles. This part has been replaced by one with an electrically butt welded joint.

Transmission.

Continues satisfactory and free from slack.
No sign of 47 M.P.H. period with rear axle nose tilted downwards.

Tyres.

Front worn smooth at 5,000 miles, and have been replaced.

Petrol System.

No trouble, either side of pump will cope with maximum demand.
