- 2 - BY5/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 1. 7. 25. -------------------------- The ignition tube which is black is a vulcanised material and not produced at our own Works. The black colour that it is produced in represents the only reasonable colour that it can be produced in. The coil case is Stabilite. It can be made in a black colour, but to do so it means that carbon black would be used, the insulation quality of the material would be considerably reduced and the reliability of the coil would therefore be seriously affected. For this reason we cannot agree to make the modification. 5. Oil Breather Cap is similar to the 20 HP. and like the cap which will be fitted to the New PhantomCodename for PHANTOM I final type of petrol tank. We are sending you a filler cap of the new type. 10. The omission of the words "Not for use in the United Kingdom" was an oversight in the original design, which does not give sufficient room. I have arranged another plate which we shall bring on in the near future, which will carry the inscription referred to. 11. Is a design issue which will have to be dealt with by R.{Sir Henry Royce} BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} [Signature] | ||
