K-S PETROL LEVEL INDICATOR.

Attached herewith are particulars of the King Seeley petrol gauge. Searight brought it back from America last year.

Our experience so far with it is very satisfactory. It is not an instrument of precision, the calibration will vary according to the specific gravity of the fuel, also if the car is allowed to stand for a long period, the gauge will record less than what is actually in the tank, but it will recover after a few miles running.

We have got the makers in England to increase the depth of the 'U' tube so as to improve the calibration. When we have one which we think is good for performance and calibrated to suit our tank, you might like to requisition one to be sent to you.
