Herewith we hand to you coil TRI which is an up-to-date standard coil with 18,000 secondary turns, but Redmanol encased. This has been handed to us by Mr. Brock for comparative test with the TS coils (4,5 & 6). Would you kindly have this coil fitted to 7GII in place of 5TG3 at present thereon. Will Mr. Warwick kindly note that this coil should be given a good thrashing to prove that under the most unfavourable conditions, it is not subject to the same defect as the mouldensite encased coil.
