The testing, failure, repair, and fitting status of various switches, numbered 4, 5, and 7.

Switch No.4. Received 14.4.37. Placed on test 22.4.37.
Failed after 28,000 operations due to fracture of actuating contact.
Returned to makers for repair 28.4.37.

Switch No.5. Received 28.4.37. Placed on test 5.5.37.
Single circuit actuating contact broken after 63,000 operations.
Returned to makers for repair.

Switch No.7. ENS.1101 actuating contacts.
Fitted to chassis 32-EX 31.5.37.
Removed 3.6.37. rotor out of centre and bridging main and dip contacts on one side of switch, dismantled for inspection.
Plunger rod very slack in guide.
This switch has never been used in the road.
Returned to makers for report and rectification 3.6.37.

Switches 2 & 6 are fitted to chassis and are satisfactory to date.

Received repaired today ENS.1101 actuating contacts fitted.
