Attention of Mr. Robotham.

Dear Sirs,

We regret a little delay in replying to your letter of the 25th ult.(reference Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rml/LG.) addressed for the attention of Mr. Paull following your recent discussion with us.

We note that you cannot at present try 6.75 tyres on 20" rims on account of wheel centres and steering difficulties. You, therefore, confirm that you want a set of Super tyres 6.75 for 21" rims, but instead of the proposed 20" tyres, you require two 'Fort' type Silent tread tyres for 21" rims.

You will then be able to compare -

(a) Super tyres.
(b) 'Fort' Silent.
(c) Standard Silent.

These requirements are having our attention, and we will arrange for a further communication to be sent to you on the subject of delivery.

Yours faithfully,
for THE DUNLOP RUBBER CO.LTD.

W Bond.

Technical Director's Office.

P.S. We are afraid you will not be able to obtain the Silent tread tyres in Paris, at least in all the varieties mentioned above, and therefore, it may be necessary for (Cont'd..)
