We have unwound the following two coils Nos NQ95 and VI85 handed to us for examination and after having confirmed the fault in each case to be due to a short circuit on the secondary winding we found the evidence as follows:- NQ95 - Break down at the end of the 2ND layer close to flexible connection to primary. VI85 - Break down at the end of 2ND layer.
