Faulty customer's coils.
We have unwound the following two coils Nos NQ95 and VI85 handed to us for examination and after having confirmed the fault in each case to be due to a short circuit on the secondary winding we found the evidence as follows:-
NQ95 - Break down at the end of the 2ND layer close to flexible connection to primary.
VI85 - Break down at the end of 2ND layer. Primary flexible connection found well underneath the 2ND layer causing the layer of paper
