V6153 C. From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.1/MA.16.5.35. CAR RADIO. Replying to your C.17/C.13.5.35., and the attached correspondence, our views are that car radio sets should be wired in all cases through a light fuse for protection against fire but we are definitely of the opinion that it would be unwise to impose any regulations as to the position of the control unit. With regard to the sound volume of the sets, this on all modern sets is not excessive and can not be heard outside of the car unless conditions are very quiet and the car windows are all open. A seven stage superhet is all that is required for ample power. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. | ||
