The A.E.C. Co. Ltd.,
Southall.

For attention of Mr. Rackham.

Dear Sirs,

Mr. Ricardo has informed us that you have used the Cadillac silent tappet but have recently abandoned it.

We have been working on this device for about twelve months and are at the present moment getting some very satisfactory results. We shall be most interested to know whether you have abandoned it for any technical reason or reasons of cost.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
