Rolled Eye Cheapened Type Axle Springs

In Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}8/AD.29.10.31, we were advised these experimental Springs, delivered last July, had done 5,000 miles in France on 19-GIV and that they were being refitted to 18-GIV.

The use of these Springs effects a very decided economy. Would you now kindly advise if we should be safe in proceeding with bulk 25 HP. At present we are buying Springs of the present standard type in small quantities, whilst awaiting the result of the test in question.
