With reference to the attached concerning the double bevel axle, I note you ask us to obtain the double bevel and proceed on the lines indicated by Mr Royce, but Mr Royce advises us in the memo referred to, to abandon the double bevel and to continue to work on the worm axle.

We recently decided to fit the Hindley worm to our worm axle for the purpose of test. The results of these tests will be forwarded to Mr Royce as soon as completed.

Will you kindly instruct me concerning your reference to the double bevel.

The question of a permanent draughtsman for Mr Royce was discussed at the 114th meeting, held on April 10th, when we decided that Mr Nadin
