BENTLEY STANDARDISATION OF PARTS Estimated Cost of New Tools £32. 0. 0d. Could be brought on to production at the 1st. Chassis in "M" Series (without Scrap) The Tool Costs by the introduction of Bijur Lubrication will be £5 or equivalent to 1/- per car if fitted on 100 Chassis in 'M' Series. Whilst there will be a further increase in Manufacturing Charges of 12/1d. per Chassis, this will improve reliability and eliminate the troubles of seized brake shafts. Investigation will be conducted to reduce this charge or at least offset by reducing Manufacturing Costs on other Chassis features. RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} TOTAL REMARKS | ||
