Coverley - Production Engineer}/Cy.3/MND.18.10.37. BENTLEY REAR BRAKES. We have investigated this complaint of rear brakes seizing due to pinching of the shoes between the anchorage plates. To overcome this trouble, BY has instructed that the clearance be altered from .003-.016 to .006-.010 and this modification is to be brought in as soon as possible. We understand that Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} is in agreement with this alteration and also that more clearance is undesirable on account of possibly developing rattles. RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}/Cy.
