X.3730 To LHS.{Lord Herbert Scott} from Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} c. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}3/M28.6.23. RE. 20 HP. ALL WEATHER CAR X.3730. We have now fixed up the final details of the construction of this car with Mr. Beaton, and as far as we are concerned the work may now go ahead. We believe Mr. Beaton is waiting for the order, and since we think the experimental people may be wanting the car we would like to get the job started in a few days. We are expecting to receive the chassis in about a fortnight, and the completed car is promised for three months from the date on receipt of the order on this condition. It will naturally take rather longer than is usual due to the many parts which will have to be specially designed for the body. Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} | ||
