Dear Sirs,

FOR ATTENTION MR G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} BEATON.

RE. ALL-WEATHER SALOON FOR 20.HP.RR.

This is to confirm our conference with Messrs Young & Co. of Bromley, on Tuesday the 26th inst.

Generally speaking the revised drawing of the body was approved, with some modifications.

(1) The moulding at the elbow line is to be painted black and this black moulding is continued under the triangle of the screen as illustrated in the sketch.

(2) Mr. Royce is agreeable to having the car painted burnt umber and upholstered with Conneley's brown leather No. AN121. We would be glad if you would send us some samples of burnt umber for our choice, and we return herewith the sample of brown lake which is thought to be too light. At the present we think the wings should be painted black.

(3) We note that the time for completion of this car will be three months after the receipt of the order providing that the chassis is received within a fortnight of the receipt of the order, and that no delay is caused.

(4) We wish to carry the large tools consisting of the jack handle, pump, wheel spanner and mallet in a metal box behind the off-side front wing contained in the valance, and we have sent you previously a photograph of this. The other small tools will arrive with the chassis and be housed in a shallow box resting in the detachable underpart of the front seat. This box should have receptacles for each tool, and be lined with green baize.

(5) In order to add still greater rigidity to the shut pillar we agree to the construction of the front seat ends as suggested, by creating a sheet metal side.
