Dear Sir, We take this opportunity of placing before you a sample of our "B R A V I L I T E J O I N T I N G" a very high grade material particularly suitable for all automobile and aeroplane engines. On examining the sample its advantages must be apparent to all, suffice it to say that once the material is fixed, the joint may be broken without fear of damage to the gasket, which remains intact on the flange ready for remaking the joint. BRAVILITE JOINTING, is different to the majority of other motor jointings whose names are legion ending with ------ite: these have a habit of splitting or laminating when a joint is broken. With BRAVILITE JOINTING this is impossible, it being a woven asbestos fabric, and while adhering to one surface, comes away from the other quite clean and ready for reuse. BRAVILITE JOINTING, consists of an asbestos cloth, woven with a fine copper or brass wire in the centre of each strand. On one side a film of specially prepared red rubber is rolled under pressure into the cloth, which is the side to be applied to the cooler surface, the other side being treated with the finest quality graphite, thus preventing adhesion to hot flanges. It is the most efficient high pressure jointing that has ever been offered. Price 3/6d per lb carr paid. May we solicit a small trial order. Yours faithfully, A.A.BRAZIER & CO. aa{D. Abbot-Anderson}/d [Handwritten Note - Left Margin] Mr. Hives I presume we have satisfactory jointing material of this type Rg.{Mr Rowledge} do you like this. | ||
