S/W Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} X3730 C4/C8.3.22 1 Re 10,000 miles Goshawks. Hy{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer}1/LG7.3.22 ------- X4086 X3730 When you refer to the Mulliner All-weather body I am presuming you mean the Open Touring body with the "Gwynne" top. Although it is an All-weather body to that extent, we do not call it such because we do not wish to confuse it with the real All-weather, which is a Cabriolet. The weight of the coachwork of this particular body will be 6 1/2 cwt, which includes the wings and steps, and all the material supplied by the Coachbuilder. Mulliners say that they require approximately 7 days from receipt of the chassis. Will you please let us know:- Monday next 13th 1. On what date you propose delivering this chassis, so that we may make plans with the Coachbuilders accordingly; 2 weeks 2. When you will deliver the Goshawk for the Maythorn enclosed-drive Limousine, the body of which we had put through at a very rushed rate with a view to completing by the 15th; 1 week 3. The third 10,000 miles trials car with an Open Touring body. This body we also had rushed through with a view to getting it completed by the 15th. Got on 6th 4. The amateur driven car, the body for which we are now rushing through to get it ready by about the 6th April. If you could give us some idea of when these chassis are coming up it will help us considerably with the Coachbuilders, because it is awkward if we cry "Wolf" and they work overtime and extend themselves, and then a lapse comes. c.
