Re Goshawk Enclosed Limousine.

We were surprised to find today that the Coachbuilders had been given instructions by Sp.{Mr Spinney} to upholster this in cow-hide leather, and on making enquiries I find that this was on your instructions.

Are you particularly keen on this, because it will be very difficult to sell when you have finished with it?

I should have thought cloth upholstery with washable covers would have been just as useful for your purpose, and more useful from the point of view of the comfort of the closed body.

Perhaps you will please telephone me tomorrow morning whether you really want the leather. If not, we will change it for the cloth. Perhaps at the same time you will tell me when the chassis for this particular body is coming through.

C.
