Honeyman - Retail orders} has been struck through) CYCLE TYPE WINGS. BENTLEY. Re Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}8/KW.7.2.34. we think that you may assume with safety that the wings as fitted to the streamline Bentley will be the standard shape as far as the sections at the wingstays are concerned. Should the helmet be not used it will not effect the stay, neither does the actual cross-sectional shape of the wing, as the stay does not need to fit the wing. The width of the wing will have to be standard. When we supply a special set of stub axles and these stays we suggest that Derby should also supply a small drawing shewing how they should be fitted up and a very clear note must be added that the stays must not be heated up and bent and that they cannot be bent cold.
