Main bearings.
-------------

We have to-day entered into our Stores the original white metal main bearings of the above car for dispatch to you. They have been labelled for your attention.

At the time of dismantling the bearings, the car had covered a total mileage of 43.803 Kms.

Owing to the car having caught fire (in the owner's hands), we have had completely to dismantle the chassis, including the complete dismantling of the engine. We are going to fit a new set of white metal main bearings at the owner's expense

A set of connecting rods with lead bronze bearings were fitted to this car on the 7.5.35.

The above customer is a fast driver.

We think that, when you have had an opportunity of examining these bearings, you will agree that some of them would not have lasted much longer.
