To: Mr Royce Order No. Customer's No. Re: Single Spring on 4 speed Side Levers RWHB I regret delay on above job but I have had two of my men off seriously ill one for 5 weeks the other 4 weeks & also I have been on overtime myself for same 6 weeks, I could only keep 4 speed box FB type actually moving well. I am sending herewith G3084 showing the single spring scheme & also the sliding quadrant to central bottom of change gear lever in place of swinging fulcrum carried on arm. I think the single spring scheme comes out well but am afraid the fixing of quadrant to frame may cause trouble due to frame not being true.
