To By/NW.{N. Walker - Patents} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} X 1164 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}2/MH.{M. Huckerby}21.12.37. P.III FRONT JACKS. We had a memo from H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} yesterday asking us to issue a leaflet for the Instruction Book telling owners how to make use of a block of wood so that when the front of the car is jacked up the wheels will still rotate. Confirming our conversation with you we send you herewith a suitable block of wood which is set on end under the bottom of the yoke after the car has been jacked up. The jacks are then slightly released so that part of the weight of the car is taken off this block of wood and the wheels will then rotate.
