The Avon India Rubber Co. Ltd.,
Melksham,
WILTS.

For the attention of Dr. Mackay.

Dear Sirs,

We are wondering whether you are now in a position to let us have 7 x 16 4-ply low stretch covers of the latest design. If so, we should be glad if you would send 12 of these with inner tubes to -

Mr. I.M.Waller,
Hotel de France,
Chateauroux,
Indre, France.

Perhaps you would bear in mind the difficulties with the Customs last time because the tyres were not stamped "Made in England".

Our French testing will recommence about the 27th. of this month; we hope you can get some tyres to France by then.

Yours faithfully,
For ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
