| 1331 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}7/MH.{M. Huckerby} 22nd. June, 1939. The Avon India Rubber Co. Ltd., Melksham, WILTS. For the attention of Dr. Mackay. Dear Sirs, Hewitt was here this morning and I mentioned to him that we might be running some of the tyre tests at Brooklands on Monday or Tuesday next week, when we should welcome assistance from your tyre fitters. I told him I would ring you up when I knew definitely the day and time on which we should be wanting assistance, but he asked me to give you a little previous warning in case the van or people concerned were otherwise occupied.
