Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.,
DERBY.

Dear Sirs,

[Handwritten note: Whose?]

We thank you for your letter of the 18th inst.enclosing Blue Print No.EX.28101 of Experimental Chilled Face Tappet, and requesting us to produce 24 castings for your Experimental purposes.

In this instance we observe that you would like us to supply the same grade of material, and cast by the same process as for certain other of our current productions, which will receive our attention.

Subject to the limitations of an experimental pattern rig the castings should be very similar, and we aim to supply you with the required material in course of the next 10 days.

We trust that this will meet with your requirements.

Yours faithfully,
FOR C.& B. SMITH LIMITED.
