Dear Sirs,

We are still anxious to know if you have any further information to hand regarding the two failed springs which we returned to you.

We wonder if the failure has any connection with the heat treatment of the 'Swedish wire' before or after coiling the actual springs.

If you could send us details with regard to the above heat treatment we may be able to help you in that a lot of work in this respect has been carried out by us on various springs in the past.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
