Reference Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst6/MA30.11.34, have you any idea when Lucas' can supply fog lamps with a clip-on front glass such as you refer to in Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst3 of 16th November, and have you come to the conclusion that if we adopt that lamp and glass we shall meet fog requirements to the best of our ability ? We feel that we ought to have, if it is possible, an immediate decision on this question and your definite recommendation, as it is at this time of the year that the needs of such a lamp are most in evidence. You say with this clip-on glass the result is like the Benjamin lamp, although we are rather under the impression that it is not nearly as good as the effect produced by the Currus German lamp. Can you please, by return if possible, give us a definite recommendation on this matter, so that we know just what to do. We are at present equipping our Inspectors' cars with fog lamps, and in the absence of anything better are fitting F.T.37. (Lucas) Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} Awb | ||
