Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} For Depot Sheet. X7480 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson}1/W.1.9.30. PHANTOM CLUTCHES. X7480 X872 From time to time we have had complaints that if the ball races in the 40/50 HP. clutch were properly lubricated, oil got on to the fabric. A modification has been made to clutch ring G.77288 which is shewn on drawing C.73312, which consists of an oil catcher which is rivetted to the cover. This catcher prevents any possibility of the clutch fabrics being damaged even when an excess quantity of oil is inserted through the driving shaft. We recommend in all cases where clutches are stripped for repair, this modification should be fitted. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} | ||
