X8770 To CJ. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} SECRET. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}4/LG12.12.24. 93-NK. X8770 X9770 This car is what we expect the 'V' series car to be like as regards the following points :- 1. Performance. 2. Silence. 3. Freedom from vibration. 4. Slow running. 5. Steering. 6. Clutch. 7. Springing. 8. Electrical equipment except starter button. The exhaust fittings on the car are temporary. The change speed and gate is the design which it is proposed to use on 'W' series. The starter button on 'V' series will be on the dash-board and operated by the foot in the same manner as the present std. 40/50. 'W' series will have the starter switch on the instru-ment board with the new scheme of starter engaging with the flywheel. The autovac on this car is in a temporary position under the scuttle. The noise from the autovac will not be noticeable when it is placed in the correct position under the bonnet. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
