X1282 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}14/KW. 29th July, 1936. F.{Mr Friese} R.{Sir Henry Royce} Banks, Esq., The Ethyl Export Corporation, Thames House, Millbank, LONDON, S.W.1. Dear Banks, Thank you for your letter of July 28th, together with your report, which I opened in Hives' absence. He will be away until the 10th August. I do not know whether there is anything on car work which you have not put in your report, but if so and you happen to be Derby way, I should very much like to hear about it. I note incidentally that your report is entirely confined to aircraft engines. Did you do one on automobile work too ? Yours sincerely, | ||
