RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} July 28th 1936 Messrs Rolls-Bentley Ltd Technical Dept Derby RECEIVED 29 JUL 1936 W/a Sirs During the two & a half years we have had Cleveland Discol Petrol on our station we have received innumerable reports from customers, regular & passing, on the splendid results they have obtained by using the above petrol. We have had many opportunities of observing the perfect engine state of cars run exclusively on Discol. Noting that the manufacturers of several cars, the engines of which are of high compression, recommend the use of Discol we wonder whether you would recommend its use for the 4 1/4 litre Rolls-Bentley, the owner of one, having used discol for his other cars, has asked our opinion on the matter. Your remarks as authorities on the subject would be greatly appreciated Thanking you in anticipation We are Yours faithfully p.p. Woodford Motor Co R J Beard | ||
