Messrs Rolls-Royce Limited,
DERBY, England.

Dear Sirs,

Attention of Mr. W. A.{Mr Adams} Robotham.

Further to the conversation Mr. J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} Russell-Sharp had with Mr. Grylls recently, and the discussion at the recent Motor Show, we are sending you separately a five-gallon drum of MOBILOIL "GX" for test purposes.

This is the oil which it is proposed to displace MOBILOIL "HGL" as being superior to the latter grade as regards load carrying capacity and also it is stated to be free from corrosion effects formerly associated with sulphurized lubricants.

We should be glad to receive your test report on this oil at your convenience and to learn whether it meets with your approval for the back axles of Rolls-Royce and Bentley cars.

Yours faithfully,
VACUUM OIL COMPANY, LIMITED.

Chief Engineer.
