Dear Sirs:
Referring to your letter of the 1st inst. We found that the Oil Gauge needle was sticking because the dial had shifted its position very slightly thus causing the centre spindle to rub in the hole of the dial.
We have rectified this trouble and the Gauge is being returned to you as requested.
Assuring you of our best attention.
Yours faithfully
FOR S. SMITH & SONS (MOTOR ACCESSORIES) LIMITED.
