COMPLETION OF CORNICHE CAR BY KELLNERS.
Sr1/ET3.5.40

I note contents of your memo, and as regards the chassis, we hope to send this off in the course of the next few days.

I also note that Kellners have stated verbally that they are prepared to complete the car in 2½ to 3 months, which will enable us to use our Import Licence, unless, of course, this arrangement is cancelled in the meantime.

I further note that the car will have to come into England first and then if we want it to return it will have to be re-exported under a carnet, if facilities are then available.

It, therefore, seems in order for you to go ahead as soon as you get the chassis.

C.
