Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}

I am in receipt of HY.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer}3/G.1.6.38. On the assumption that Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} agrees, I accept the recommendations and leave it to HY{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} to ask K.{Mr Kilner} to make the necessary equipment and also to arrange for operators to spend a week or so at K.{Mr Kilner} for the reason indicated.

Re paragraph 3 the same remarks apply as above re approval if Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} agrees.

I believe that both Derby and K.{Mr Kilner} have replacement engines available especially as we recently acquired one ex-Sir C.Bruce Gardner's car.
