M.R. 235a (10c T) (S H.{Arthur M. In view of the remarks in R's note, Rs.{Sir Henry Royce's Secretary}/G24.1.21, you will probably consider the advisability of employing "Mex" Motor Spirit, in lieu of "Shell" Motor Spirit, for testing chassis engines, seeing that the former is 2d. per gallon cheaper than the latter, but I shall be glad to hear from you with regard to this. I take advantage of this opportunity to point out that the British Petroleum Co.Ltd. supply their No.1 spirit and their No.3 spirit at prices respectively identical with the prices we pay for "Shell" Motor Spirit and "Mex" Motor Spirit; therefore, if the quality of the British Petroleum Co's spirit is better than "Shell-Mex" Spirit, we ought, in my opinion, to take advantage of it.
