Dear Wilks,

Thank you for your letter of the 8th.

I think the customer gets more out of a good rubber engine mounting than out of a dynamically balanced crankshaft.

I have found that our Conduit Street Office seem to have gone "Rover-minded"! Have you got any of our Aircraft sub-contracting work yet ?

We should like you and your brother to pay us another visit after the Motor Show if you can manage it.

How are you making out with TEL ? Several firms who had never heard of exhaust valve trouble twelve months ago now seem to be in difficulties.

Can you get up a squash team to play the local side ?
