x1091 TELEPHONE 8081 (7 LINES). TELEGRAMS: 'ROVER, COVENTRY'. MANAGING DIRECTOR'S OFFICE [Stamped] SBW:ME. THE ROVER COMPANY LTD. COVENTRY, ENG. October 14th 1935 W.A. Robotham Esq., Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd, Derby. Dear Robotham, We have not yet been asked to quote for any of your aircraft work but should like to do so. However, since I had no reply to my last letter on the subject I came to the conclusion that it was hardly worth while pursuing the matter. My brother and I would like very much to come up some time after the Show. I hope we shall see you some time next week and be able to arrange matters. A new Squash Club has just been formed at Coventry and two very fine new courts just completed. Will you bring a team down and play us on these courts? We shall be very pleased to welcome you and do our best to defeat you. A week-day would be best as the courts are very much booked up over the weekend. How many are there in your team? We still seem to be keeping clear of TEL valve troubles. We get a certain amount of trouble due to sticking valves and too little clearance but nothing that we can trace to Ethyl. I am hoping to meet you at the Show because I should like to hear all about the new PhantomCodename for PHANTOM I. Yours sincerely, [Signature] | ||
