We have had several cases of trouble of loose contact points on the cut-out, due to poor riveting and as there appears to be some difficulty in obtaining two perfectly flat surfaces to rivet together, I suggest that after riveting, the rivet head, washer and spring end are just blobbed with solder, similar to our condenser connections. I have had one done in this manner and would like you to give same a test, at the moment Mr Brock is running it on his rig but has agreed to hand it over if you will send for it, we could then consider making this a standard method of fastening these points.
