BENTLEY SPRING DRIVE.

Further to the memos that we are returning, and the visit from Mr. Moses, who explained that he could not give us the cost of the new spring drive, unless we quoted the L.O.P. and piece number, we are sorry that the organisation is such that you cannot give an estimated cost from an LeC drawing.

It frequently happens that parts are instructed to the Experimental Department without the existence of an L.O.P. If the Experimental Department wish to standardise them, it would appear impossible to get the standardisation sheet completed or discover the cost until the parts are put on production and an L.O.P. made.

We should, therefore, like to have a reply to our memo - Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}8/MJ.26.10.36.
